District Statistics Office, Jashore is a field-level office under Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), which operates under Statistics and Informatics Division of Ministry of Planning. This office conducts population censuses, economic censuses, and agricultural censuses at the district level, as well as various ad-hoc surveys and census-related activities. These include demographic, health, industrial and labor statistics, national accounts, price and wage indices, industrial production and price indices, poverty, environmental, gender, and agriculture-related statistical activities and compilation.
